Rehab

The cows and chickens and stuff are meant to make us feel wholesome and like our chores matter. Really they're just there to keep us busy and out of trouble. It doesn’t work, or course. All it does is annoy the people who started using to tune out asshole slave-drivers in the first place.

Being treated like a farm-hand makes a person crazy if they don’t let it out once in a while. Like, say, by throwing cow shit at the nurse when his back is turned.

And hey, they can’t prove it was me.
