STRANGE MEETING

They met at a river far from town. In thoughts, they didn't notice each other. There was the sound of activities from the nearby town. As they noticed each other they came closer,exchanging greetings. They sat on a fallen tree that layed near the river, and for a while, they kept silent. There was only the sound of the small tide and the rush of wind across the trees. They began a conversation and it was as if they had known each before. They talked and laughed and just then it began to rain. The town was far away, so they leaned on each other under the trees.
