A lucid dream, that probably says something about my mindset.
I drown in my dreams
Trying to swallow the nightmares
One time I broke my neck
While rolling up the stairs

I suffocate on your lies
My lungs a tinged with sin
A never-ending carousel
A drugged up sober man

My dreams are filled with laughter
And I'm dressed as a clown
Trapped inside a casket
The devil is pulling me down

I hear the angels singing
It's getting hot in here
I can't take off my clothes
cause it's clinging with sweat and fear

The sun must be rising
The winter chill has set
I feel the summer breeze cooling me
My eyes feel drained and wet

In all my dreams I drown
on the blood dripping up my crown
My royal advisor's peasant wife
Has a permanent upside down frown.
