The frontrunner...

Meanwhile, most will mark
The turning of the calendar
With nearly no hope
Of a satisfying outcome. 

The population of undecideds, moderates,
And independents
May or may not settle on Trump
As the choice
For fiscal change
And policy solutions... 

But there are those who feel
We mustn't entertain notions
About global strength
And lasting opportunities
With the other options.
