I did this for you from the bottom of my heart,
That one acre square, where I groomed you a piece of art.
Before the show is on I hope you catch a small glimpse,
It is for you the great men and women who fly like an eclipse.
Snowbird's, Harvard's, the Lancaster And of coarse the famous Belle.
My ancestor's told me many stories of how they followed you to hell.
How you took care of business before those key points almost fell.
All the other famous craft that defend our home and keep us free.
You all have my personal respect that I will covet, as long as I can see.
Others who fly just for the spirit of winds under the wing.
Let me show you how I appreciate your very special thing.
As you spiral flying our colors like the flag, around and around.
By the way, you always look so amazing up close or from the ground.

Even as I am writing in this moment right now,
A pilot came down from the heavens with a drop.
I could tell they were close by the sharp sound of their prop.
There is no greater reward than knowing they had that moment of WOW!

I am so very proud of you all,
Know that if I am needed,
I would follow with tradition,
Even if to fall.
