Here's the remedy for poets who feel too sad.
I went for a book launch yesterday, to a bookshop-cafe called Atta Galatta (AG for short).
The bookshop-cafe is owned by a couple, Lakshmi and Subodh.
They have the best samosas (spicy Indian snack) ever.

Here's my chat:

Me: The book launch was morbid. Such sad poems.
Lakshmi: Go take a shower. It will refresh you.
Me: (obediently takes a shower. Gets duly refreshed. Muse wakes up.)
Me:
Droplets on my upturned face.
Be happy, be happy, they say.
O, lets of drop – why don’t you
Go the poet’s way?

Teach the poet to be not sad
Teach him to be happy
And at AG, if he can’t
Give him samosa therapy.

For he is young, the poet
He hath known too much sorrow
Lakshmi, please tell him
To take a shower tomorrow.
