Wet windows spark imagination. (Form: Rondeau) A Poetic Traditions Entry
The Crystal Tree

Like branches on a crystal tree
I watch the raindrops running free
creating images that say
it’s more than just a rainy day.
Wet window wonders - just for me!

The random twists and turns I see
highlight nature’s diversity
within this myriad display
like branches on a crystal tree.

Meandering. quite playfully,
the silver drops glide down carefree
as if they were children at play
lost in the magic of the day.
They paint a perfect filigree
like branches on a crystal tree.
