He was bleeding all over me,
as I was covering a wound that no one could see,
A wound that encompassed more and more of me every second.
As he bleeds it seeps in,
Infecting every pore,
And I wondered as I suffer silently beneath him
If he could see my pain,
Or if it mattered,
Or if I mattered.
As his body drained into mine
I listened as my heart gave away
Suffocated from the weight,
An explosion he seemed to enjoy.
He crawled off of my frozen body, finished
Helpless, I sank to my knees,
The cringing zip of denim
Broke clear through the trance
that one day I’d wake in a body drained
of any essence that was not my own.
