A short tale of two people. No dialogue. |
Two individuals sat side by side, not a word passed through their lips; however, both were drawn to each other, like moths to a flame. His eyes swept over her curvy figure appreciatively, his hands swept through his dark hair, making her lick her lips in return. He quirked his lips into a cocky smirk and she blushed, her eyes cast down modestly, her hands were clasped on her lap and she played with her ring, twisting it around and around. He shuffled slightly closer, his eyes sought hers and his hands rubbed his thighs in apprehension of rejection. She angled her body towards his; reciprocating the interest making him cast a breath out in relief. She watched him keenly as she fingered the ends of her long brown hair; a tear slipped from her eye, and took a slow breath in. She felt the couch move; he had moved closer and wrapped his strong arms around her. The smirk no longer in place, instead he frowned; his mouth was a hard line. She bit her lip to stop it from quivering and sank into his embrace, her head cushioned into the nook of his shoulder. A perfect fit. She inhaled deeply and sighed as the familiar scent of his musk aftershave swam around her. Her hands were still clasped and she continued to play with her ring. She sighed again and closed her eyes #, she felt his head lean on top of hers and her lips twitched into a small smile. His heartbeat was audible and she found herself gently tapping out the steady rhythm. He rotated his arm, losing feeling down it as he took her weight, he tried clenching and unclenching his hand to encourage the blood flow, his face scrunched up in discomfort and he huffed a staggered breath. She turned and sat forward, taking the pressure away and he smiled sheepishly at her before shrugging. He brought his right hand up and cupped her cheek; his thumb slowly caressed her soft skin. Their eyes locked and they started to lean forward gradually. She drew in a shaky breath before their lips met, their eyes fluttered closed and his arm snick around her waist. His hand moved from her cheek and wound itself into her hair drawing her closer. Her hand rested teasingly on his thigh whilst the other trailed up his back, grasping at his tee-shirt. He pulled back slightly, just enough so that he felt her breath on his skin. His heart beat faster and his chest rose and fell heavily. He rested his forehead against hers and smiled. She melted against him and smiled back, her lips still tingled. His fingers ran the length of her hair playfully, making her shiver and goose bumps appear all over her arms. He placed a kiss on her forehead before trailing small kissed down her nose, making her scrunch it up, he followed her jaw line, planting whispered pecks. She felt a breeze then nothing. She opened her eyes and he was gone. It was only a memory. |
