Feel free to critique this poem, it's one of my first in a considerable amount of time.
I see you’re looking at me
Your thoughts, springing up
Like tall skyscrapers
Probably brush the heavens
And you, from the very top
Would look down on me

I am not a spectacle, nor a show
I am not who you think I am
You, wearing the expensive jacket
Probably have an abundance
Of the things I lack

Yet, this is not about that
I ask for the common decency
The deepness of humanity
That you would free me
From your searching eyes
As if you expect to find
An answer
