Gone

She knew she was too late when the phone rang that morning. She was just getting up and was about to get ready to make the drive to see her Daddy. The words on the other end of the phone brought her to her knees. Gone? But, she was coming to see him, she would be there in just a couple hours! Gone? Her heart shattered into a million pieces and her soul wept. Gone? Each tear she wept was lost in a puddle of grief and shock. Gone? Her life forever changed that day, one phone call, life will never be the same again. Her daddy was gone.
