Grieved is a poem that describes our feeling when we lose a loved one. |
Deep and deepen; in the great burrow of pain With trials and tears competing for attention space In just our small fragile and helpless heart With weakened defense and unrest will That's the feeling of a defeated desire Beaten wishes and denied desires Heart wrecked; because our wishes is beaten Grieved! Grieved!! Grieved!!! Our heart is Chattered within We could feel the pain hauling like acid It's burning in our fragile heart, A place we can't touch; Not because it's far from us, But because it's deep within us. Weak and wearily defenseless We tend our nu-numbered questions; All to no one; all to no neighbor; all to no caring friend. And with our crying helpless partner, We sit by the bed, the stretcher and the grave. We prayed, we were never answered, We cried, we were never comforted, We wished, we were never honored, Grieved! Grieved!! Grieved!!! A soul is loss and the people are crying, If there is anyone willing to help, Please take our sacrifices of tears, Of hopelessness and of sorrows The trials and pain are deep within Too deep in a place we can't reached. In all of this, time we hope shall our tears wiped Hope restored, pain relieved and rest grant But now I am grieved, awaiting time's healing. |
