Find your blade within the grass
I am so weary of them all, their worries, their pains
their pitiful threats and obliged kindnesses.
I am weary in my soul and wish to sleep.
I will go to the forest and look for my tree
I will crawl into the earth beneath it and embrace its roots.

I will to hear the rains hit the soil and down to my skin.
I will sleep deeper as the earth fills my eyes, my nose, and my mouth.
I will become indistinguishable from the tree above me.
I will become the forest floor and the earth.

I will feel its pain, its sting, jab and saw, tooth and nail
And this will show the little pain I have endured.
I will then know what it is to be tired and weary.
Then when I have as little energy as the earth that surrounds me I will rise and once again embrace my humanity.

I will see you all for what you are.
I will see how little the problems are that plague this electrical world.
I will love and live and love again
Then my lover will see the Earth return to my eyes and they will know I am leaving
I will return to the forest and stand as my tree kind do.
I will stretch and reach toward the nourishing sun, awaiting the next weary man to come and lay at my feet.
