I use to watch my mom as she went down on her knees

I watched her tears as they hit the floor

Until one day as I watched my friend die

That was the day I turned my life around
Fell to my knees and bowed down
Now I understand the tears my mom shed

You never know when death will visit you
One day your mom may be crying too
We have a Savior in heaven who paid a high price
His blood He shed for you and He didn’t think twice
He laid His life down as He hung on the cross
He paid the ultimate price so that your soul wouldn’t be lost
For your life, would your friend endure being nailed to a tree
Well Jesus is the friend that did it for me
It’s time to lay your weapons down and pick up the word
I know in your mind that may sound absurd
We’re in a real war this ain’t no game
The devil play for keeps and he’s pulling names
Will he pull yours next, there’s only one way to tell
Will you meet the Lord in heaven or satan in hell
Roll with the King and you can’t go wrong
