A poem about a man who used to be so happy with the woman he loved and how things changed.
What happened to the woman you loved?
You used to smile when you talk about her
We could almost see flowers and rainbows
Fall out of your cave of pearly whites
And how your lateral high buccas
Would turn to velvet sunsets.

What happened to the woman you loved?
You used to brag that one day hopefully
She will be carrying your last name.
Then you would spell her name with yours
And lovely how you would pronounce it
As if it tasted like little red cherries.

What happened to the woman you loved?
You used to act around indecisively
On who you were going to pick as best man
And you would promise again and again
That you would love her beyond always
That you'd go and marry her in all churches.

What happened to the woman you loved?
You used to say she'd look good in white
Or just in every shade of every hue
Then you would laugh, blush and say
That among everything else in the world
She would look best with you.

What happened to the woman you loved?
You used to say the most wonderful things
But now all you speak of are such curses
How you swear you'd never love her again
Ever since then you've changed a lot
What ever happened to the man she loved?
