Masculinity 2015

In the last 3 months,
3 men have tried to die,
The first of which was me,
That thought should make me cry.

The second was a friend,
On a similar path to me,
Silly sod thought he could end it all,
And that would set him free.

The third of us I never knew,
The neighbour of a friend,
Whilst his pals went on a 'beer run',
He tied the rope and met his end.

The pain that ties all 3 of us,
No secret to the world,
The hurt and loss of our children,
To a bitter, nasty, little girl.
