just a pitch, selling education reform
There is a theory that, due to the spreading of talent over people being statistically shaped like a bell curve, a lot of people are incredibly talented at certain activities. Because of the diversity these activities come in, it is plausible that everyone has at least one excelling talent. The trouble comes when trying and failing to find that one particular talent, time after time. An education can help a lot in uncovering and development of these skills, but provide only limited support into an already predetermined set of fields. It's duration typically spans about 12 years, after which you are supposed to have stuff sorted out enough to last well into retirement. Our solution: spend 60 minutes with any other person of a different profession, and suck his brains out! Learn to do bookkeeping, practice juggling or learn how to do your make-up properly in exchange for your doubtlessly useful skill. In other words:
Learn to conquer the world
in exchange for knitting
