Why all Men Are Not Created Equal

No one really knows,
The potential each child holds.
Look forward, my friend: Just learn from the past.
Pregnant mothers drinking, we can no longer condone.

As Thoreau once said," How wonderful it is that every child begins the world again."
They can be victims of a disease that unfolds.
Make sure to do it better in the future to make it last.
All the studies , the damage has shown.

The alcohol soaks into and damages their brain.
The liquid poison will their brains enfold.
With no kidneys, there is no way for the alcohol to get passed;
Will misshapen eyes and limbs show what evil has been sown.

Pregnant mothers no need to abstain.
The human costs need to be told.
It is time to speak out at long last.
Struggling, struggling to reach stepping stones.

Because there is no way for the alcohol to drain.
I see them struggle with homework and tribulations untold.
Unlike their peers by contrast.
Not hitting milestones unknown.

Sometimes loud noises will drive them insane.
There are so many other children with this disease when all is told.
Will four billion dollars a year leave you aghast?
All because their neural connection`s growth has been postponed.

My three innocent boys, and their three siblings are why I started this campaign.
Because they don`t fit the typical mold.
I watch them cry when kids treat them as outcasts.
I often cry for them all alone.

I have always wondered what their futures could have been.
Some of it`s victims future hold parole.
The damage to their brains are vast.
I see their peers ignore them and leaving them alone.

As I feel my determination wane.
Sometimes I feel my rage uncontrolled,
As it takes them seconds longer to answer questions asked.
My little men with my love will grow.
