Self reflective blog post
While growing up in a Christian background there was always a lot of discussion about Gods purpose for your life. The theory was if you pray God would send you this grand illustration of how he made you just for this one purpose. Everyone has a calling. I used to get very upset because I just didn’t know day to day what I wanted to be like, who I was, where I fit in, I was lost. As i got older it was always in the back of my head but I stopped trying so hard. I followed my heart, my passions and jumped in head first to everything I did. Along the way I realized these passion coming from in me came from God. I didn’t a vision or dramatic in the spirit revelation to know who I was or what I should be doing. I love being a resource, inspiration and offering and guiding hope back into peoples lives. I have a heart for helping those who fall through the cracks and get over looked. I love being able to share what I have experienced with others in hopes they too will work to achieve their life goals. It is why I was so interested in criminal justice, psychology, support groups and why I am now embarking on an educational journey to achieve my NYS Peer Specialists Certification
