Simba’s Dilemma

The Lion King was worried, didn’t know what to do.
His mate Nala had stopped breathing, was slowly turning blue.
He’d warned her not to eat that Chicken, “Run!” he’d screamed.
Now it was too late, she lay like a Sleeping Beauty it seemed.

For she was his Beauty, And The Beast of course was him.
Now her soul seemed Spirited Away, as if blown by a wind.
His pride consisted of an albino lion, the rest were quite small,
Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs was what they were often called.

The more his mind worried, the more restless was he,
And knew he could call, his old, best friend, Bambi.
But she didn’t answer her cell, for she wasn’t home.
She’d gone shopping for Cars, and his mind continued to roam.

Then he thought of the Minions, they’d been around since creation.
There were more of them than those pesky dogs, the 101 Dalmatians.
He knew they served only evil leaders, right now, t’was Despicable Me
Knew he needed someone else, and thought of his pal, Wall-E.

Nala was all he thought about, she was his Cinderella,
He’d taken to singing for her; no music, just Acapella.
Another friend came to mind, his wooden friend Pinnochio,
He wouldn’t help, thought only of his friend, My Neighbor Totoro

Robin Hood came to mind, and Buzz from Toy Story,
But they had gone fishing, Finding Nemo in all his glory
He tried reasoning with them, their minds couldn’t be swayed,
Both had dates that night, with that hottie, The Little Mermaid.

He finally contacted an old friend, things were looking Up at last
The friend suggested he kiss her deeply, for wasn’t she his lass?
That advice was a lifesaver, for Nala woke with a glow.
Who provided such great advice? Why that little pachyderm Dumbo!
