something I wrote on the bus home after school while hating myself this past winter
a night of lost sons
a quiet sunrise
a streaming of light
a slight tremor
a look not given
a pair of warm hands
a glance beyond
a heavy sigh
a lone bird
a nervous whisper
a long hour of silence
a tired smile
a lunch spent crying
a stolen book
a hurried goodbye
a faded sweatshirt
a new haircut
a walk alone
a conversation not welcomed
a slow sunset
a new found star
