short poem about life
In the woods, along the path I stumbled
my footing lost, from my lips I mumbled
the path I'd imagined, was there for me to see
but it was crooked and twisted, not how it should be

A glance behind, a glance ahead
between both ends, is here I said
I follow the path, I'm curious to explore
to the end of the trees, the clearing and more

But I came to a stop and as I grew tired
I looked back at the forest that I had admired
and I smiled to myself, that I could see
my raison d'etre, was simply to be
