The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
So this is my first interactive story, so bare with me and let me know any suggestions that you have about, well, anything. I'm gonna start out with a few little snippets about this story and me and I'll just let you know that 1.sex will not be present, even though the idea of it will be there in some cases 2. I have little idea about what I'm doing 3. most of this is rough draft and I doubt it'll ever be final 4. Most of this is also just some ideas that I've had and I wanted to get it out somewhere so it's not particularly well organized 5. I hope you enjoy this! I'm actually publishing this because I want to make all of you happy! :)
Introduction of the story

"Get up, or you're gonna be late!"
"Come on, get your shit together!"
"Lets go, go, GO!"
"Baby, trust me. It'll all be okay."
"Stop STRUGGLING!"

She woke up covered in a cold sweat, thoughts rushing in and out of her brain. Turning on her light, she pulled out her journal filled with the nightmare induced writing. Shaking off the uneasiness of the dream, she wrote down all of the reappearing images and sounds that swelled her brain. How many times she woke up looking at her pale, clammy hands as she arose in the middle of the night overcome by haunted thoughts, she didn't know. She hesitated to look up, aware of the presence that hovered in the room with her. She refused to even acknowledge the fact that it was even there, just laying back down and covering her face, drifting to a restless sleep.

"Now, Samantha, tell me what happened in last nights dream?" the doctor asked.
"It wasn't a dream, doctor; it was a memory." Samantha weakly responded.
"How do you know?"
"The pictures were too vivid, too real... do you know one of the easiest ways to tell if you're dreaming, doctor?"
"I know many ways to tell if you are dreaming, but please, tell me what you think it is."
"Reading." Samantha looked up at the unfazed doctor, "May I see one of your books, doctor?" The man looked confused, but handed her the Holy Bible. Samantha looked at the books encrypted letters and only saw symbols. No where could she read "Holy Bible" across the front or along the side. "Do you know what another way to tell if you're sleeping is, doctor?"
"Do tell, Samantha." the doctor was now slightly frustrated.
"People you talk to, don't have thoughts of their own," Samantha got up, staring straight through the man sitting before her. "Tell me, "doctor", what is your name?"
The doctor struggled to come up with an answer, "I d-do-"
"WHAT IS YOUR NAME, DOCTOR?'
There was no response from the doctor, instead he just disappeared, revealing an open staircase behind his original chair. Samantha took the lantern from the wall of the stairwell, slowly descending into the darkness. She arrived at a sheet of whiteness after a while of walking, in darkness. Shielding her eyes, Samantha stopped and kept a tight grip on her lantern. Peeking beyond her fingers, Samantha recognized she was in a blank plane filled with nothing but herself. She turned frantically to try and see anything in the unnatural environment and make sense of what she was seeing and feeling. Samantha remembered the lantern in her hand and looked at it, contemplating what would happen if she threw it down. Would the whole room burst into flames? Or would it disappear into oblivion? Only one way to find out, she told herself.
Samantha threw the lantern down a few feet in front of her, causing the lantern to erupt in flames in the shape of a person floating in air, arms wide. The phantom slowly fell to the ground, flames decreasing in size the closer it got. He reached the floor and let his arms fall, but kept his eyes closed, allowing Samantha to take in his appearance. He was taller than her and replicated her body type to a larger scale, he had dark brown hair slicked to the side in a classic undercut, he embraced a light stubble on his lower facial features. He was wearing a grey v-neck that showed off his stout torso, paired with a pair of black pants displaying his legs. He wore no shoes and appeared to held no other accessories when Samantha examined him once again, only this time his eyes were visible and were staring directly at her.
