Is one of the worse mistakes people make
Wanting desperately to fit in,
You’ll stop eating to become thin.
If you’re not thin, people will laugh at you and call you ‘fat’,
Once you’re thin, people will stop and chat.
Of course, you cannot be too thin, that’d cause people to dislike you,
They’ll blame you for making them look fat, those strangers you didn’t even knew.

Wanting desperately to fit in,
You have to change the color of your skin,
You cannot be black, you shall be judged if your skin color is dark,
People will avoid you when you’re out on a walk in a park,
You cannot be white, because white people are racist and judgmental,
And if you’re white and laughing, people will label you as ‘mental’.

Wanting desperately to fit in,
Look at the relationships, in which you’ve been,
If you’re a person who’s lesbian, bi or gay,
People will hate you more than ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’,
If you’re pansexual, asexual or aromantic,
People will think you’re antic,
It is better to be in an abusive STRAIGHT relationship,
Rather than in a loving but non-straight companionship.

Wanting desperately to fit in,
You have to know how you look, from toes to chin,
You cannot be a transgender person,
Unless you want your situation to worsen,
For there is no bigger crime than not knowing which gender you are,
How can people of the opposite sex flirt with you in a bar?
They cannot be in a relationship unless it’s with someone of the opposite sex,
So being with a transgendered person is considered some sort of hex.

Wanting desperately to fit in,
You have to work on your grin,
No one cares if you’re suicidal or abused,
No one will notice if your arms are bruised,
But you can’t look sad or talk about things which bother you,
You cannot show your closest friends if someone hit you and gave you a blue,
Fake everything, like all the rest,
And just hope for the best,
