It seems I need to clear up a matter of confusion and (I must confess) some embarrassment.
I am NOT a grammar nazi. I have no idea how to diagram a sentence, and I haven't the foggiest notion of what a modifier is. (note to smart people - Please don't feel compelled to explain. I'm perfectly happy not knowing.)
Things like double negatives make me twitch--if you say things like you "don't got no money", I will (unfairly or not) knock at least 50 points off your IQ estimate (maybe 100).
Obvious grammar flubs and spelling errors - when done by businesses - disappoint me. As I always say (usually while at work), "I'm not learning good life skills here."
I'm not on here to correct grammar, spelling, punctuation or composition. My language skills come from a life-long love of writing and reading. Not some high-falutin' college courses.
So - relax already. Okay? Grammar police need love too....
