A simple free verse love poem
My eyes gaze upon her as she sits in the dying light

Her long hair floating upon a summer eve's breeze

My dearest love you are liken unto the angels above

Your every word a soft and tender kiss laid upon the ears

Your tender touch is the warm gift of life

She looks upon me, a smile upon her lips

It is as if the very creator has blessed my soul

Oh most fair one, I profess my love unto you

Let us not depart from this very place

She lays in my arms and I am lost in her eyes

No word is spoken, no breath is taken, and time itself has stopped

We find ourselves below heaven and above hell

Did you descend from above, my most precious one

Our lips together become a holy communion of fire and passion

Our hands become the sacrament of love

There is no time or space

Only she and I

Each breath a lifetime

Each touch a healing miracle

Each kiss lasts in an eternity

Oh blessed one, where have you been all my life

She looks deeply into my eyes as she lays her head upon my chest

Oh dearest one, forsake me not in this moment

Leave not my heart strewn about

Nor leave any word unsaid

No barriers unbroken

No embrace unfolded before us

We are fully complete now

Unveiled before the very heavens themselves

Know now my love, I have sought you out

I rejoice in this world, for I have her at my side always

I protect her, even unto the end of the earth

I love her, even unto the end of myself

I embrace her, even unto the very dark depths of hell themselves

Dearest love, know that I am yours

In her soft, tender, loving voice she made it known she is mine

Always and forever, I love you with every aspect of my being

I have always loved you, I do love you, and I will love you forever
