the car ride that starts all the thinking.
Pyromania Rose – chapter 4

As I looked out the window at the scenery, I tried to keep my mind from wondering. I had so many questions to ask and I wanted to hear the answers but this man wasn’t the man to ask. There was someone else that was higher up that had the answers so I was just going to have to be patient and wait.
The car ride though was another story completely. He hadn’t said a word since we had that quick conversation. I wanted to know more but I didn’t want to ask. Guess I was afraid of what kind of answer I might get from this guy. As we drove, I noticed small Cessna planes flying around and landing in the distance, and as we got closer to where they were landing, I realized that we weren't going to be driving all the way to wherever this person was waiting for us.

"Where are we going?" I asked, watching another plane bouncing around on the grassy fields trying to land. The man looked over to where I was looking.

"We are getting on one of those," he said as he pointed. "And there is a plane waiting for us right now."
He turned right onto a dirt road that lead right up to where the planes were lined up. There was a building large enough to fit at least three to four Cessna planes in it. A group of men waited around the entrance of the building and spotted us and waved us down. The car slowed down and skidded to a stop in front of the waiting group of men. Dust flew around the car as the wind picked it up and danced around with it. The man got out of the car and slammed the door closed. I waited in the car, not knowing what to do next.
Should I make a run for it? Where would I hide?
I looked around to see if I could make it to the forest that was about three miles away.
Nope! They would get me before I even got one mile away from this car.
The group of men greeted the military guy with open arms and they exchanged fowl rude words to each other.
Men!
The guy motioned for me to get out of the car and as I did, a huge black Pit-bull dog came out from the garage and came at me at full force, bearing it sharp teeth as it barked. I quickly closed the door and jumped back as the dog jumped up at the window.
Cujo.... they brought the fucking Stephan King's dog here.
"Down boy..." one of the men haltered and the dog stopped barking, walked away from the car and sat down beside the man who had told him off.
I waited. I wasn't going to go out there with that crazed dog on my ass all the time.
"It's okay.... he isn't going to hurt you..." another man from the group said.
