A story about two lovers who could no longer be together.
“This is so confusing”, said Alexander puzzled.
“I know it is now, it will soon become clear, you must be patient”, said Anastasia.
“I don’t want to lose you, you are the love of my life and I can’t live without you!”
“I am only doing this for your sake, it is too dangerous for you to continue loving me. I can’t have you getting hurt. I won’t stand for it.”
“I don’t care, I would risk my life everyday if it meant I could be with you forever.”
Alexander began to cry. He begged and pleaded with Anastasia for hours to change her mind. He was hoping God would find the will to let Anastasia stay with him for at least one more night. Still crying and begging, a strong gust of wind blew Anastasia’s hair out of her face, exposing her now glowing green, beady eyes. Alexander was taken back at first, but he wasn't scared. He didn't care what might happen in the future. All he cared about was now and right now he wanted Anastasia.
“Its coming, I can feel it. Stay back Alexander”, Anastasia warned while she let go of his hands.
Alexander began to scream at her, begging with everything in him. Anastasia looked Alexander in the eyes one last time, he could see her body was beginning to change. Her fingernails turned to claws, her teeth grew to fangs. She took one last breath and said, “I love you”, then stepped off the ledge of the building the two had been standing on. Alexander fell to his knees, now alone on the top of the building. How could she do this? I could have helped her, we could have got through it, she could have changed, I could have changed.
