A Change

I can feel it now,
running through my veins
Like warmth on a winters day,
I'm taking off some layers

One foot following the other,
dripping concrete as I pave a new way
Twenty five years and six have passed,
but now I hold life, never to flee again

Painting colors with my eyes
Erecting trees with my mind
Growing vegetation with my soul
Trusting in the unseen

I offer my hand to you
Someone,anyone, take this walk with me.
Distance and time are of no matter
on our way to the Emerald City
