How suddenly life changed for me
When you became my destiny
Our love, so sweet, ran out of time.
Forced to leave I lost my rhyme.

Phone calls and notes proved to me
That with you I wanted to be.
I called you ,hoping deep inside,
You told me had found a bride.

For over twenty years I've loved you.
I've had lots of love in my life too..
But I don't believe that "we" will ever be
The you and me that I hoped to see.

I have named you my beloved shadow
Because you have lost your life glow.
