i use 2 know a girl who smiled for everyone to see
but underneath cried for normality and to just be
her demons crippled her emotions
drugs took what was left n left her swimming in hells oceans
A disfigured young mind, at the age of pre-teen
a wishful mind ready to engage but always un-seen
She feel in love but always at arms length
letting her abuser take away her best strength
leaving her to be isolated and forgetting her prospects
and always buying and obsessing over material objects

forgetting money cant buy respect
or take away the hurt
so now she spent her day n nights out getting wrecked
on crack or absolutly anything she can get
forgetting what love was real,
stealing from work, a ton every night out of the till
anything to get a thrill

and then she wud go into her own mind
as i way to unwinde
always missing her lil boy ,
dreaming n staring at his neglected stuffed toy
in that moment everything she had fought for
was for nothing
n it truelly felt like she hadnt won the war

so she pushed every one that cared away
cause she was damn done with it , cudnt understand why any1 wud stay

there must be a reason she had survived,
now she has to figure out who really cares, and who really lied
Blood leaking through the cloth, she cried silently
And then the drugs proceeded to numb her violently
detox her thinking so she cud see reality
stop that feeling of sinking
and get better gradually
