Callow Shadows

Let them be shadows;
dark and gloomy;
only able to follow.

I’d rather be the light;
leading, shining bright,
giving warmth and comfort.

Breaking through the dark,
nothing can beat the light.
Its warmth always has,
always will be there
to embrace you as you
step out the door.

Even at death, light is
right there, leading the way,
when its time to go.{/center}
