Loosing Focus

Walls will shatter
as thoughts scatter
racing all about

What's inside
that untamed mind
forcing the rest out

It shudders and shakes
from great earthquakes
to rock the world around

It makes a shock
to stop the clock
and block out all the sound

It tries to focus
but like the locust
it cannot be contained

It all escapes
without a trace
blurring what remained

It can't avoid
being destroyed
when all's said and done

In the head
is all but dead
roasting in the sun
