About a 20 something girl who gets a phone call from her father who passed away years ago.
Barefoot she ran through the darkened woods. The full moonlight, Soluna's only way to miss tripping over the old oaks roots that were jutting out of the ground. She slowed down as the babbling stream came into view. Feeling the warm air of this night and the sound of the babbling......RING RING RRRIIIINNNNNG.
"HUH What!?!?!" Soluna said sitting straight up in her queen size bed.
Ugh whos calling me this late. She thought.
Staring at her I phone and not recognizing the number on the screen.
Thinking to herself. I was having my nature dream again. I love that dream.
Quickly she sweeped her screen and held the phone to her right ear while she fell back into bed.
"Hello" she said.
"Soluna?" A questioning older mans voice said on the other end.
"Ya. Who's this?" Soluna responded in an irritated voice.
"Its me baby. It's daddy."

"WHO IS THIS?" Soluna yelled over the phone. "Chris is this you? You know this isn't funny. It's 1am I have to be at work at 6am. Seriously brother it's not cool to even joke like this."
"Soluna don't talk to your father in that tone of voice young lady." came a very familiar elderly ladies voice over the phone.
"Grandma?? WHAT THE!!!!!" Soluna jolted up in bed causing her phone to fly from her hand to the end of her bed.
I'm sleeping, I've got to still be asleep. I gotta wake up. WAKE UP.
Soluna thought as she started pinching herself.
"OW OW OOOOWWW"
OMG I'm not asleep, she thought.
Soluna slowly grabbed her phone and held it to her ear cautiously.
"Dad.....Grandma...Helllo"
"Well now that thats all over with" Soluna's dad said " How are you baby girl? I miss you"
"Dad" Soluna's eyes filled with tears"Dad I miss you too. I love you. How is this even possible?"
"Honey we don't even know. Things are odd over here. This beautiful woman just told us to pick up the phone. I believe she said her name was Bridgit" grandma said.
"Nana, Dad I miss you guys so much. Dad I was only 6 when you passed away you've missed so much. Nana I just saw you last month before you.....I can't believe this." Soluna choked out the words. "i love you"

The next few hours were spent with Soluna conversing with her father and grandmother about everything. The spoke of Soluna's life, about their lives and deaths, the otherside, and all the things and people they've encountered in death. Because even in death we all live on.
