Over a Cup of Coffee

We share a cup of coffee
That was set by me
But we never share equal amount
Though I was the one who made it!

He preferred it to be so hot,
I preferred it not so hot,
I haven’t noticed the difference
Our taste is not the same

While waiting for my turn ,
To sip the taste of the bean,
I was left with a surprise
All I can see is a residue

I come to a point of realization,
A coffee can’t be drunk w/out a cup,
I am the cup and he is the coffee
Now , what is due?

Time to prepare your individual coffee
And wait until you see the difference .
