A poem about the mythical creature Krampus.

You query why I live this way?

'Twas not my choice to hurt a child.

When children start to misbehave,

My head begins to drive me wild.

I wish I could attain some peace.

Maybe then the change would seize.

But it never fails. I sprout my tail.

I become the Krampus beast.

The man they know has disappeared.

He won't return until the morn.

His evil mind will show no mercy.

Heed my warning! Beware the horns!

The sun is up and the clouds are gray.

My hateful curse has ran away.

You call me evil, I know not why.

'Twas the children that did not obey.
