I see her now in my mind's eye
When Winter days and snow are nigh
She gave light to the bleak gray pall
That snowy girl with parasol

I saw her first long years ago
When in our youth we walked the snow
Led hand in hand by nature's call

I need but think of her sweet glow
The angel of the icy squall
