Outer Limits

I know a thumper who pushes her Bible,
hates Gays and hates Blacks
is a self-righteous snot.
Loves to assert I am going to Hell,
actually told me that Gays should be shot.
She once asserted Obama was gay,
and Michele was gorilla (how disrespect flows.)
Funny how thumpers in evil assert--
evil the snot flowing out of the nose.

I reached the point of enough is enough;
her attitude pierced like keen-sharpened knook.
She wears the snood of judgmental intent--
she is perversion of her holy book.

“Please keep your hate to yourself,” I once said,
(freely from glittens she’d fling it with glee.)
Years and years of this black-hearted nonsense;
anti-love remains upsetting to me.

Alas, my request fell onto deaf ears
(and even yoga socks retain the stink.)
Her fine response was to spit in my face;
(thumpers love thump but they don’t stop and think.)

Now the Yule season approaches all right;
I hope that hers is a good Christmas ball.
Knowing the Lord is no license to hate;
I said my piece and I no longer call.
