This poem is about the transition from autumn to winter and my feelings about the latter.
Winter

Little birds where have you gone?
Come back and sing me another song
Inhale- cool crisp air
This next season brings a new love affair
Not one where the fresh flowers bloom
But cold and drab
And as bleak as the moon
I will sit and watch
The leaves of change
It will not stop
An unequal exchange
The golden kiss of the morning sun
The fiery flame of evenings dusk
Mark the day that you will come
Our meeting will be brusque
I hold no affections for you
