Quad-chapter of my original work, All Hallow's Eve. |
A few days later, the duo, werewolf and wiccan were driving to his house. His parents, a werewolf and a human, were very accepting of their relationship, and his younger brother, a human now, but would know on Halloween of his 16th year, whether he was a werewolf or not. Only thirteen years old, he was only in 8th grade, not at the high school yet. The next day would be Michael and Kassandra's homecoming dance. They picked out their wardrobe alone, with their parents. Kassandra would wear a black and white dress. Michael, channeling his inner child, would wear his father's tuxedo, with a Mickey Mouse vest. While driving, they were listening to a classic, "Dream On" by Aerosmith. When they arrived at his house, his parents weren't home. He got the mail, while she took his key to open the door. He then began singing a Guns N' Roses song, "Paradise City." Of course, while she wasn't around. But, she heard him, and when she appeared again, she complimented him on his singing. "Thanks." he said, as that was really all he could muster to say. "Welcome," she said, "So, what do you wanna do?" "Hmm," he thought aloud, "How about we play a game, and winner decides?" "Great idea." she said. "What game should we play?" he asked, pointing to his Xbox. He taught her how to play firt-person shooters, such as Call of Duty, and Battlefield. "Grand Theft Auto 5." she replied. "Alright." he said, as he put the disc in the Xbox and it loaded up. He then set up the game, and they were let loose in the game world. He was up by two kills throughout the game, until she killed him twice in a row. Then, they were tied. As the game clock counted down, it seemed it would be a draw. Then, seeing an oppurtunity, she placed a sticky bomb on a gas tank. He would drive near it, trying to kill her, and then she would blow it up. As he sped around the game world looking for her, he saw past her clever ruse, and got out of his car, and flanked around her. At gunpoint, he said to her, while looking at her, "Any last words?" "You're too cocky for your own good." she said, as she scrolled through her weapon wheel and picked a .50 cal pistol, better known as the Desert Eagle, and shot his character twice in the head, killing it. Speechless for a few minutes he was, until she said, "Luck? Or skill?" "It's called me being cocky, like you said." he retorted, his pride wounded. The rookie has beaten the master. "Sure it is." she said coyly. "It is and you know it." he said, grabbing her hands and pinning her onto his queen sized bed. Laughing, she said, "I know what we're going to do." "Do you?" he replied. "Yes." she said, walking out of his room and getting 'her' sweatshirt. Following her, he walked out of the house and got into his Camaro. Started it up, and drove off. Following her directions, they arrived at a blue house, with windows and a door. Nothing entirely special about the outside of it. After she knocked on the door, it opened to reveal Aoife, staring back at them with her red coloured eyes. "Hey Aoife." she said into the darkness of her friend's house. "Hello Kass." her friend replied, before eyeing Michael and saying "Hello Michael." "Hello Aoife." he replied, as she opened the door to reveal more of her house, and inviting them in. Aoife comes from a richer family in Dublin, while Michael comes from a poverty-stricken family from the hills of Donegal. Immigrated here to the United States in the 1800s, his great-great-great grandparents on his mother's side were the poorest of the poor. Coming from a famine in Ireland, they were put into a tenement building with 6 other families. Finally, when he was born, he was born while his parents were on their honeymoon, to none other than Ireland. His parents were middle class, so they couldn't go on a honeymoon until April of his birthyear. He was born in May. "So, what are you both doing?" Kassie asked her friend and her boyfriend. "Not much, you guys?" Aoife asked. "I don't know, this was all her idea." Michael said, pointing to Kassie. "Do you both want to come with us to the movies?" Kassie asked her friend. "Sure!" the boyfriend said. "Well, let's go." Michael said, as he walked out to his car and started it. After a few seconds, the trio came out and got into the car. After everyone was situated inside, they were off. When they came to a red light, a car came up beside them. A tricked out Toyota Supra. Where Michael's car lacks in looks, it makes up in speed. The Toyota was red and green, while Michael's car was black. While the Toyota had a spoiler, Michael had a wheelie-bar. Where the Toyota had a nitro boost, Michael had a 1600 Horsepower engine. When the light turned green, the two cars were off. Down an empty road with no cars, they were able to push their cars to the limit, respectively. However, in the end, Michael smoked the Toyota. Coming up to the next red light, the Camaro was alone. When the light turned green, he turned left, with his 44 .cal suicide knob. They were then at the movie theater. After he parked, they each got out of the car and walked inside. They bought four tickets to a new horror movie, "Ouija." When they were situated, Michael put his arm around Kassie, and told her, "You can put your head into me if it gets too scary for you." "Same goes for you." she told him. "I'm a werewolf, we don't run from anything." he retorted. "Yeah, sure you don't." she replied, kissing his cheek before the movie started. While the movie was playing, there came a scary part, and obviously Kassie jumped, along with everyone in the theater, but Michael did not. "You didn't jump?" she whispered, before noticing he had his hat over his eyes, "How long have you had that on?" she asked again. "Since it started, actually." he said, half asleep. "You went to sleep?" she asked again, in a whisper. "Yeah, why wouldn't I?" he replied, again, in a whisper. "You're dumb." she said. "Why?" he asked. "You just are." she replied. They then began making out in the theater. Lips locked with hers. As that is what all couples do, seriously. |
