Personal rant in rap fashion, though I am neither a poet nor a rapper.
To the Thieves of Slippery Park

Thieves of Slippery Park you are
In the tiny community of Winslow, AR
You stole every thing from an elderly lady.
You took power of attorney when she turned eighty.

She trusted you to do the right thing,
never dreamed you would steal her wedding ring,
take her house and take her car,
put drugs for her in a mason jar.

You stole new appliances from her brother,
and tintype photos of her mother.
You locked her away in Fayetteville Rehab,
Blocking access from the only true friend she had.

Slippery Park might be the name,
For you it became a slippery game,
taken from the elderly,
given to the slovenly.

You got your way by telling her a lie.
Now you sit and wait for her to die.
I can't call, I can't visit,
Tell me again what you gain from this?

Your days are approaching
there is no need for coaching.
The religion you spouted
will soon be routed.

All the lies you told
While you hunted for gold,
Will come back to bite your ass.
I hope I am there to see you pass,

Under the stars, up to heaven's gate,
Just to be told that you are too late.
You gave your word and took it back,
Spirit and heart and soul you lack.

Thieves of Slippery Park you are
In the tiny community of Winslow, AR
The time of the end is coming fast,
And there is nothing you can do to take it back.

The damage is done, the time far spent.
I wonder where Mr. Frank's ashes went?
One day you will be old and grey,
I will be waiting for that day.

I am going to buy your house
for just back taxes,
With God as my witness,
I will right this mess.

In the eyes of God, you are shrinking,
Dead, died and stinking,
You are on your way
To meet your maker on Judgement Day.

Thieves of Slippery Park are rotten,
But Lilace Swanton God has not forgotten
Con men coming in the name of Christ
Making little old ladies the scene of their heist.

In the mean time I pray you peace,
And angels to guard you as you sleep,
I trust God, He will keep you safe,
Until I see you again, face to face.
