For my Entries to the Character Gauntlet September 2014


Meet Chaos Intrepid, freelance investigative journalist, blogger, confidential informant and all round public sleuth.Wounded both physically and psychologically as a war correspondent, his private life is in disarray and his survival relies on the cases he obsesses about solving.

He is one of the three protagonists in my crime novel: In Her Shoes, though his role is significantly less in the first novel than the second, which focuses much more on his history as a half-Iranian Londoner growing up in the 1990s.
