My Travels

I ready myself for my travels
without luggage nor clothes to carry,
nor passports and tickets to buy
nor bade farewell to my family

Yes, I traverse freely
To the unknown where and when
There is no destination limited to where I go
nor time hindered to when I go

I boast and am proud of where I have gone
I have gone to Victorian London with a gumshoe and a doctor
to America in the 40's with a lawyer and his family
to Hell with my Italian friend and his companion

I have gone to galaxies with knights of their religion
to the lands of men, dwarves, elves, and hobbits
to a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime
and many more and yet to travel
