An old poem I wrote 12 years ago.
As the mystery spirits loom
Overhead
The colours of their souls
Entwine
Keeping a watchful eye
They embrace with a smile
A frown.
Many idiosyncratic expressions
Shaping our momentary ecstasy.
Specks of distant lives conflict
And tears flood
Blinding the sacred skies
Blurring in our mind.
As the mystery spirits
Retreat
Thunderstruck by an illumination
A higher entity
We sigh with relief.
