Mason Hamilton struggles to deal with an array of conflicting and painful emotions as he attempts to come to terms with the recent death of his father who had been deployed with the US Army in Afghanistan. Mason soon befriends the caretaker of the cemetery, a New Orleans native that relocated after Hurricane Katrina had destroyed his home, whom is blessed with an extraordinary gift that may help Mason get the answers to the questions he seeks that could give him the resolution needed to accept his father's terrible fate.
