I tried too hard with this.
A day too long

For time is short

Down many of these endless paths I walk alone

O, home I go

From where unknown

Into my lover's arms I roam

Of engrams young,

Both late and old

Perception merged with times before

Playing but by heart and soul

Reminiscence of her warming tone

A dash of breath; a crush of snow

A winding path; a narrow road

Safely tucked away between the pages of her sacred hymnal

O, home I go from where unknown

And through these arms my lover flows

Vox atop those branches high

Avalanche of cloud and sky

Rushing great with speed, she soars

An infinite, horrendous noise

For in thy wind my love has bound

Letters I have never found

We've spent forever passing notes

My name and hers both now rewrote

Together as we walk alone

Hearken now, she passes by

Beyond me though the storm has died

Quieting the siren sigh

And down these roads from where unknown

Into my lover's arms I roam

She waits to sing for me at home
