THE WEIRD WHIRLWIND INSIDE MY HEAD

It was a cold dark night when I heard the door to my room screeching, I woke up quickly and sat still on my bed.  Waiting for something strange to happen. Something that would scare me out of my skin, something that would make me want to dig the ground and bury my head. I have never been so scared in my whole life, like that particular moment.  The room was engulfed with darkness, all I could see were the moonlights protruding in my bedroom through the wind pane.  My blood was pumping faster and thoughts raced through my mind. Not at even one time, I thought of it as a coincidence. It couldn't have just has happened. All I could think of was what next? What's going to pop in my room? How will it affect me?

After I had anxiously anticipated for the unexpected to happen, unfortunately nothing happened. My muscles loosened and now I was gaining some reassurance that it was just one of those natural things that take place. The tight grip I had held on my blankets loosened, I wiped out the sweat on my forehead and lastly I said a short prayer before sleeping again.  As I was getting prepared to cover myself in my bed sheets, a whirling wind blew across my room.  The door was now a jar, like the church gates.  Shadows were racing across the walls in my room chanting in some unfamiliar language, as if bewitching me. The ghosts were pale, with long, hair and dressed in white frocks. Some shadows crept close enough to scare me to death. I could barely catch a breath, my eyes were wide open. I was breathing fast; I couldn't tell what was going on. I was in a state of confusion.

The wind inside my room was becoming stronger and stronger to a point where my bed was floating in air.  The bed was now rotating in a circular manner, as the speed accelerated. I yelled on top of my voice, but still felt like I was in a hole.  The yelling didn't not help that much, in fact I got into more trouble when I yelled. Suddenly, one of the shadows got hold of me and looked into the eyes. It was so creepy, something extra ordinary happened. As I looked into the eyes of the creep, it was like watching my whole life from a wide TV screen.  Things happened so fast, the whole video like thing was over and the ghosts let me down. The wind stopped and I was back in my bed, there were neither more shadows nor any kind of super natural thing. The door to my room was shut, just like I had left it before going to sleep.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, I heard someone knocking the door to my room. Then I heard a soft voice calling out my name, "Joseph is everything okay?"  The voice sounded familiar, it was like my mother's voice. I kept quiet, then suddenly the door was opened again, there was a huge female figure standing.  Then I thought to myself, what wrong I ever did to deserve all this torture in one night. I was almost going nuts, when the lights were turned on and I saw my mother standing next to me. God had sent her to my rescue, just like He sent to us His only begotten son.  That was my worst nightmare ever, since then I have always been attending some therapy session.
