Shakespearean sonnet for round 9 of the Perfect Sonnet Contest.
What love is this that blossoms red as rose
Sweeps the captive from her feet and binds her
As she grips fast her own captor and shows
That now she gives her heart in surrender.

Then two as one unite and play the song
Eternal to all souls held within place.
This love blooms and grows well tended, for long.
The two enshrined together find much grace.

Their love does travel over hill and dale
Far reaching it does beguile, though not stray.
These two together never will they fail.
Hearts beat as one, forever they do stay.

Strong together in their love, it will last
Beyond our time into the next, hold fast.
