Brother

I have an eighteen year old brother. All my life, my brother has had attention given to him because he is just "so wonderful" and a "gift to this family".  Everyone thought that he was so smart, and because of his wonderfulness, I was deemed as the "family mistake" by teachers, peers, even my own family. About a month ago, my brother started acting strangely. One night, after school, he came really late, and then my parent's took him to a doctor. They thought, literally, that he was schizophrenic. However, when he was taken to the doctor, they found nothing wrong, or out of place with his brain. He was just fine. He was taken back home, and I was told to give him a break, and that he was going through some stuff.
Then, yesterday, He went outside, got into his car, and then just left. My parent's started to really worry about him. They went out to find him, and brought him back home. He was bawling his eyes out, and my parent's started asking him questions. He said that he was hearing voices in his head. I rolled my eyes. My parent's started to immediately console him, and tell him that it's not his fault.
This bugged me. I have ADD. When I was younger, and couldn't' concentrate, It was suddenly all my fault, and even when they found out that I had ADD, they still didn't let up. They told me that I had to do better if I wanted to get anywhere in life. Why aren't they telling that to my brother now?
Oh wait, I know. He's the special one. He never does anything wrong, and when he does, it can't be his fault, it must be the fault of little people in his head telling him to do something. He's still the perfect one, even after all of this, and I know that my family wants me to care about him. But the cold hard truth? I think he's faking it to get attention., His wonderful things aren't doing it anymore, so he's just resorted to other measures.
You probably think that I'm a bitch, But who cares. This is total anonymity, so no one will ever know who is saying these things. But before you judge my for being a cold-hearted bitch, know this: Just because you're siblings doesn't mean that you have to care. My brother doesn't give a shit about me, so why should I care about him?
