I fell in love with you <3
Walking among the trees the way I touch you
The way your leaves feel on my lips
The way your tongue licks my branches
We started months ago
200 days of longing and waiting for the stars to fall
You took me one slice at a time starting with my eyes
And you haven’t finished yet
And I love the way your hair feels as I run my fingers over your wide open starlit eyes
The way I dance through your branches, the leaves begin to fall
You are my protective circle
You are supple
Out of a young girls old, crippled hands
Your skin
The color of mocha
Hair the color of a warm
Breezy summers night
Eyes the color of the best chocolate
The kind that melts on your tongue
The story is short
Far too short to tell in one moment
It didn’t need to be long it needed to be perfect
You molded my eyes out of yours I’m starting to see what you do
And when the fireflies kiss our tear stained wrists
Will we kiss them as well?
Will I lick your wounds as you have mine
When the trees began to fall apart one member at a time?
We will not be like them
Fall will not come for us
There will only be rebirth and the warmth
Of your arms around me
Take my shoulders as we dance into the mouth of star gazers
Their tongues moving with us
You don’t move much but when you do
My stomach squeezes
It was perfect
Will I touch you like silver tongue the way you have touched me?
Will we dance along the sun and burn into oblivion?
Sitting in English is hard to realize the beauty of mocha on a warm summers night
Your fingers are a dream, as are your lips
When they brush past the trees we fell in love with
